This project for the University of Western Australia (UWA) involved a strategic property portfolio divestment and realisation strategy, as UWA was seeking to consider the development or divestment options of a number of non-core land assets in order to release latent capital for investment into core physical and digital infrastructure and facilities.

The commercial approach taken for this project was to remain focused on delivering certainty of outcomes, value maximisation and bankability in order to exceed UWA’s minimum requirements.

Scope of Works:
  • In-depth economic analysis and facilitation of stakeholder inputs to inform property strategy
  • Preparation of a detailed “Future State” commercial options analysis report
  • Detailed project risk analysis and preparation of individual property realisation risk analysis
  • Development of an implementation plan to facilitate the execution of key risk mitigation strategies across each individual property and as a collective portfolio
  • Following the approval of recommendations in the “Future State” options report, our team led the procurement process to deliver these project outcomes.
