Working closely with Yarra Ranges Council and their consultant team, Bower Insights resources undertook a financial feasibility report for the purpose of providing a comprehensive financial analysis of the various development options being investigated by Council. A review of the financial impacts and detailed cost analysis of the proposed social housing project was completed and this included a detailed comparison against a market housing development of the subject property. This financial feasibility assessment included analysis of potential project funding sources and was required to assist the Council in establishing additional funding support for the proposed development.
Through this engagement, we established an optimised development brief for the development of social housing on the subject property and assisted the municipality in developing a deeper understanding of the financial and commercial performance metrics required to deliver social housing.
